Copyright and Licensing Policy Thieme currently publishes more than 50 OA journals:
Eight of the OA journals offer cc-by as default and all other OA journals offer cc-by-nc-nd as default reuse license. Full information here:

The author retains his copyright transferring usage rights to the publisher via the copyright transfer agreement. Usage rights are transferred to the publisher upon acceptance of the manuscript in accordance with existing legislation. A cc-license will be added according to the author's choice.
