|Peer review policy||Each submission is preliminarily reviewed based on the objectives and editorial policy of the journal, minimum standards of academic quality, originality, and in accordance with the requirements defined in guidelines for authors. The journal reserves the right to reject articles deemed inappropriate for publication.
Articles that meet the required standards will be reviewed anonymously by two experts from the peer reviewing group (referees) of the journal, nationally or internationally, with sufficient knowledge of the subject matter and/or methodology used. If there is no consensus the scientific committee will appoint a third referee. The comments of the reviewers will be passed on to the authors.
During the evaluation, both the names of the authors and those of the reviewers remain anonymous. The result of the evaluation will be communicated to the author within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the article. If this period is exceeded, the Editorial Team will inform the author.
The final decision to publish or reject the articles is made by the Editorial Team, based on the reports presented by the evaluators; This decision is communicated to the author (approved, approved with minor revisions, approved with major revisions, or rejected).
In all cases, the editorial committee will consider the value of the proposed works for the development of human sciences, arts, social sciences, technology or innovation in sciences that have greater implications in Colombian and world society, regardless of the national or foreign origin of the authors or of their belonging to one or another organisation.
