Peer review process https://periodicos2.uesb.br/index.php/odeere/about/submissions
Peer review policy Double-blind peer review
The final decision on whether to accept manuscripts will be up to the Editors, based on the opinions issued by the reviewers. The status of submitted articles can be tracked through the system with the login used for submission. Reviewers will be chosen to ensure that they are independent, ie not from the same institution as the author of the submitted manuscript. The evaluation process chosen by ODEERE is that of double-blind peer evaluation. To be sure, when submitting to the journal, care should be taken not to disclose the identity of authors and reviewers during the process. Therefore, authors, editors, and reviewers need to note some precautions regarding text and document properties: The authors of the document have excluded from the text any indicative leading to the identification of the author. In Word documents (.doc or .docx), the author ID should be removed from the document properties (from the File> Properties menu) by starting from File in the main menu and clicking on the following: File> Save As ...> Tools (or Options on Mac)> Security Options ...> Remove Personal Information from File on Save> OK> Save. Step 2 should be followed for cases in which reviewers will forward the text with suggestions for change or correction. ODEERE's evaluation body is made up of PhD researchers and doctoral students from Brazilian and foreign higher education or research institutions. The evaluation is made taking into account the content, the structure of the text and the wording. Evaluators will recommend acceptance for publication, rejection or request for publication through necessary revisions. Reviewers will use a standard form to review the submitted manuscripts available on the journal's own system. Final acceptance of a manuscript is considered completed only after compliance with the journal's editorial policies and manuscript quality requirements. The final decision on whether to accept manuscripts will be up to the Editors, based on the opinions issued by the reviewers. The status of submitted articles can be tracked through the system with the login used for submission.
