Peer review policy Manuscripts are first read by the Editor in chief who decides if the manuscripts should be sent to a subject editor or rejected immediately. The subject editor decides if the manuscript should be sent for peer review or if s/he recommends immediate rejection. Manuscripts that are sent out for peer-review are seen by at least 2 referees. The subject editor then recommends a decision which is approved by the Editor in chief.
