|Publication charge policy||OA journals: Microbial Genomics is a newer journal and currently charges only a partial APC of £700. All APCs are currently waived for our newest journal, Access Microbiology.
Hybrid journals: the OpenMicrobiology APC only applies if you choose to make your article Open Access. Articles in these journals have an APC of £2100.

|Initiatives||We offer hybrid OA for our four long-established titles. Subscribing institutions receive discounts on APCs, as do Society members.|

|Peer review policy||Our journals operate a single-blind peer-review system, where reviewers are made aware of the names and affiliations of the authors after they agree to review, but the reviewer reports provided to authors are anonymous.|
