|Publication charge policy||There are no subscription fees for Open Access journals. Most journals charge the authors (or their institution or funding body) a single Article Processing Charge (APC) per accepted article, ranging from CHF 850 to CHF 1,600. APCs support publishing service costs. APCs are not charged until a paper is accepted for publication and do not affect any editorial decisions. The APCs for ‘Cellular Physiology and Biochemistry’, ‘Kidney and Blood Pressure Research’, and ‘Medical Principles and Practice’ depend on the number of printed pages.|
