|Publication charge policy||Fees are payable according to the length of article submitted (based on word counts of the main body). Discounts are given for users of the F1000Prime service, members of the Faculty of 1000, referees and editorial board members. We adhere to HINARI/AGORA guidelines for submissions from low-income countries. Individual waiver requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.|

Articles that pass this formal peer review process are then indexed in PubMed, Scopus and other major bibliographic databases.
